The exhibition “Placebo Home” is about the artistic practice in existential personal or collective situations. All works have different layers of perception, but the starting point was a sentence from Otto Muehl out of prison: “Finally I can work freely here in my cell”. The title “Placebo Home” can be understood in various ways: Placebo as the phantom pain, home as the place of the unknown or the homly, being home, finding existence.
